During this past year, the University of Connecticut implemented a significant renovation project which included the replacement of the portable seating located on the floor of our main concert hall. As you know from the experience, replacing the existing portable seating at Jorgensen was no small task and presented a number of significant challenges. Thanks to you and The Robert H. Lord Company, we were able to identify a new portable seat manufactured by the Clarin Company which has proven to be a wonderful replacement for the old and well loved portables. The portable seating manufactured by The Clarin Company met all of the criteria we had established for the replacement seating: quality, style, affordability and portability. In addition, these seats provided a significant cost savings in that they can be easily stored on our existing chair racks. The seats were manufactured, delivered and set-up in a timely manner and your work with the pre-planning and post delivery follow-up made the process much less daunting. I want to thank you for the great job The Robert H. Lord Company did furnishing our art department, our executive offices, conference room and our administrative offices. We wanted a fresh contemporary look to our new space and your designer was simply outstanding. She was with us every step of the way providing a highly intelligent office layout and demonstrating a true understanding of our business needs.

V/S furniture for our executive offices is an absolute homerun. It captured exactly the look and feel we were after. Its German engineered quality and visual appeal was well worth the wait. It makes a great contemporary statement without being pretentious. At the same time, the surprisingly affordable AIS workstations are perfect for our artists and graphic designers. They can’t stop praising them. Their ergonomic design and layout is ideal for our highly collaborative workgroup environment and I believe they will greatly improve the comfort and productivity of our staff in the years to come.

In closing I want you know that The Robert H. Lord Company has been an outstanding partner in the realization of our new office. From the earliest discussions about our needs to final delivery and installation of our furniture, we couldn’t be more pleased with the process and the result.
