Our History

Founded as a family business in 1967, the Robert H. Lord Co. started out with one manufacturer, a vision and our founder's values. He knew that the Golden Rule applied to business the same way it did in his life. "Try to treat people the way you want to be treated".

Forty years later, because of these principles, the Robert H. Lord Co. has grown to occupy a 23,000 square foot warehouse and showroom facility in Manchester, Connecticut.

We are one of the largest providers of Bleachers and Educational Furniture in New England and provide regular bleacher safety inspections, maintenance and repair services.

Recognized as one of HON Furniture's Premier Diamond Dealers, the company's future prospects remain strong due to its rapid expansion into the Tenant Fit-Out and Office & Business Furniture markets.
